Admission for Ph.D. Program 2023

The Centre for Brain Research (CBR) invites applications from eligible and highly motivated Indian nationals for admission to its full-time Ph.D. Program beginning on 01 August 2023.

CBR is a recognized research centre for Ph.D. program by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Karnataka. The Ph.D. degree will be awarded by MAHE.

CBR promotes interdisciplinary research in basic and clinical neuroscience to understand brain aging and aging-related brain disorders. These studies involve advanced genetic, biochemical, neuroimaging, neurocognitive, and computational approaches using multiple model systems. Besides supporting basic research in diverse areas of neurodegeneration and human genomics, CBR spearheads community-based mission-mode projects with significant implications for the aging population. CBR has state-of-the-art Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), GWAS, imaging, and other facilities to enable this research.
