Sindura Ganapathi works as a Senior Advisor at CBR and is a visiting Principal Scientific Advisor Fellow (PSA Fellow) in the office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Govt. of India. He has worked on building national-level programs such as the National One Health Mission, which focuses on implementing integrated disease control and pandemic preparedness by bringing together the human, animal, and environmental sectors. His expertise also includes designing the end-to-end digital architecture for the management of the national-level livestock sector and wildlife health management system, in addition to work on streamlining India’s regulatory processes. As a biomedical researcher, he has previously worked for over two decades in global health. Sindura grew up in a rural farming household in Karnataka. His educational background includes degrees in Veterinary Science in India, followed by an MBA and PhD from Penn State, USA..
