Book Talk & Panel Discussion

You are warmly invited to participate in a book talk and panel discussion titled ‘Why Machines Learn’. 

This event will focus on the AI wave and its evolution, its underlying architecture, and its role in society.

• Dr Anil Ananthaswamy, Science communicator and author of the recent book ‘Why Machines Learn: The Elegant Math Behind Modern AI’

• Dr Sandeep Bhupatiraju, Researcher – Development Impact Evaluation (DIME), World Bank

• Prof. Siddhartha Gadgil, Professor, Department of Mathematics, IISc

• Dr Soma Biswas, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering Department, IISc

• Moderator: Prof. Thomas Gregor Issac, Associate Professor, CBR
